RadioClub is the brainchild of long-time friends, Shawn Desman and Tebey Ottoh. Both are music industry veterans with a long list of international achievements to their credit. Born and raised in Toronto, Shawn Desman burst onto the Canadian music scene in the 2002 with his debut single ‘Get Ready’ (BMG Music). #1 singles and videos, Top 10 radio hits and platinum singles would quickly follow (Shook’, Let’s Go’, Night Like This’, ‘Electric’, ‘Nobody Does It Like You’), and by 2012 Shawn had become the biggest domestic pop star in his home country. Winner of multiple JUNO, SOCAN and MuchMusic Video Awards, Shawn has proven himself to be a music business heavyweight, with no signs of slowing down. Tebey Ottoh is a Canadian multi-genre songwriter and artist. Also from the Toronto area, Tebey has seen success as both a songwriter and an artist. As a songwriter, Tebey has watched many of his songs reach #1 on various charts around the world, including the US (Billboard), UK, and Canada. Such international artists like One Direction, Fifth Harmony, FLO RIDA, Pixie Lott and Cher have all recorded songs penned by Tebey. To many people’s surprise, as an artist Tebey calls the country music genre home. Having amassed four Top 5 radio hits in his home country, his singles ‘Who’s Gonna Love You’, ‘Happened on a Saturday Night’ and 'Denim On Denim’ were recently certified Gold, Gold and Platinum respectively. 

Shawn and Tebey have long discussed the idea of creating a collaborative project that showcases their song writing and production talents along with their vocal prowess. Their single ‘Hey Now (Iko Iko)’ ft. Alx Veliz and Altur Santos has amassed over 7.6 million streams to date. It was featured on popular Spotify playlists like ‘Workout’ (4.7 million followers) and ‘Summer Hits’ (1.1 million followers). The Spanish version of the track, ‘Hey Now (Iko Iko) [Versión En Español]’ is the group’s latest single. Their debut single was an EDM remake of the 1987 international pop smash ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ by Rick Astley which has over 22 million streams to date and peaked within the Top 40 at Canadian Pop Radio. “I’ve always loved that record!” says Shawn. “It’s a classic pop melody that we thought should be introduced to a whole new generation, many of whom probably don’t know the original”. Single #2 was a house/dance song called ‘Love Go When It’s Gone’ with over 1.1 million streams to date. Their third single ‘Starlight (Feat. Jesse Gold)’ was an exciting departure from their first two singles featuring a throwback R&B sound. ‘River’ has amassed over 1.3 million streams and was Stingray Music’s #1 Most Played Dance Clubbin’ the week of May 17th, 2021. On June 4th, RadioClub released their version of ‘I Love You, Always Forever’ featuring UK pop duo Neeka. ‘I Love You, Always Forever’ has over 2.6 million streams to date. RadioClub collaborated with Canadian pop artist Dan Talevski recently on a track called ‘Back To Me’. The track was released on July 2, 2021, and has amassed over 1.1 million streams and has been featured on major playlists such as Workout (4.4M+ Followers), Summer Hits (1M+ Followers), Hot Hits Canada (722k Followers), Pop All Day (474k Followers), New Music Friday Canada (310k Followers) and New Music Now (215k Followers).  Last summer, RadioClub collaborated with Swedish duo DUNDER, on their joint single ‘Her Lips Are Sayin (La La La)’. The track has gained over 620k streams and was featured on Spotify France’s Nouveautés Electro playlist, as well as Amazon Music’s Party Hits, Summer Pop Party, Hot Singles and Pop Culture Radio.
