JAKE VAADELAND TOUR SCHEDULE EXPANDS GLOBALLY PLUS NEW ALBUM APRIL 26
Touring juggernaut also readies new collaboration with platinum selling country artist Tebey, and releases new single ‘Until the Day I See You Dear’ to Canadian Country Radio
For Immediate Release (Toronto, ON – April 2, 2024) Hailing from Cut Knife, Saskatchewan, 20-year-old Jake Vaadeland kicks off his ‘Retro Man’ Tour with 23 dates in Canada and the United Kingdom this Spring. This follows a well-received 14-date run through the USA as support for The Dead South, as well as being selected to perform at the Great Escape Festival in Brighton, UK this May.
The tour celebrates the release of his upcoming album Retro Man – More & More set for release on April 26, 2024. The latest single from the project Until the Day I See You Dear, will be released to Canadian Country radio April 2, 2024. Jake Vaadeland goes on to explain, “We’ve put together this record especially for my fans, and we’ve got a little something for everyone. We’re releasing new music, along with a few of my personal favourites, and our most requested songs. It’s wonderful to be able to share it, and I sure do hope everyone hears a little something in the album that they enjoy just a little bit!’’
Following his UK tour dates, Jake is slated to release his collaboration with chart-topping country artist Tebey. The pair teamed up in Nashville to record a bluegrass version of the Avicii hit ‘Wake Me Up’, itself a Gold Selling Top 5 Canadian Country Billboard single for Tebey in 2014. The collaboration will mark the 10th anniversary of the release, which featured Emerson Drive, and will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the hit song. With a Western Canadian Music Award nomination under his belt, and 7 x award wins in his home province of Saskatchewan, a new single, album release, and tour stops in Canada, the USA and the United Kingdom, there is no doubt that Jake Vaadeland is quickly becoming an artist on the rise.
